For the 14th Year in a Row, Cleveland Clinic Heart Center Is Ranked No. 1 in U.S. News & World Report 'America's Best Hospitals' Survey

s will add nearly 1.3 million square feet in clinical and public space to the Clinic's main campus.

The Miller Family Pavilion will serve as the main entrance to Cleveland Clinic and the new home of the Cleveland Clinic Heart & Vascular Institute. With nearly 1 million square feet of space, the pavilion will feature 278 private patient rooms, state-of-the-art catheterization labs and operating rooms, and a rooftop plaza. The ground floor will include an assortment of stores and retail food options for patient and visitor convenience.

The 330,000-square-foot Glickman Tower will house the Clinic's Glickman Urological & Kidney Institute and feature advanced clinical technology, a rooftop helipad for critically ill and injured patients, as well as a grand hallway.

The buildings will officially open in late September.

Cleveland Clinic, located in Cleveland, Ohio, is a not-for-profit multispecialty academic medical center that integrates clinical and hospital care with research and education. Cleveland Clinic was founded in 1921 by four renowned physicians with a vision of providing outstanding patient care based upon the principles of cooperation, compassion and innovation. In 2007, there were 3.5 million outpatient visits to Cleveland Clinic and 50,455 hospital admissions. Patients came for treatment from every state and from more than 80 countries.
