For Second Consecutive Year New York Hospital Queens Named 100 Top Hospital Performance Improvement Leader

Queens was selected as a result of the following gains over the course of the study:

-- Decreased patient deaths, complications, and adverse safety events

-- Decreased patients length of stay by nearly a day, despite an increase in treating more seriously ill patients (this also provides a financial benefit to patients)

-- Financial stability and healthy management of hospital expenses

New York Hospital Queens, located in the heart of Queens in Flushing, NY, is a 439-bed acute, tertiary care facility. The hospital is a member of the New York-Presbyterian Healthcare System and is an affiliate of Weill Medical College of Cornell University.
