Footwear etc. is pleased to announce that is receiving the Fall 2013 Collection of footwear from Gravity Defyer. Featuring VersoShock™ Reverse Trampoline soles to minimize shock, Gravity Defyer shoes have proven to reduce the impact of walking and running on hard surfaces. Gravity Defyer is expanding its collection with many new styles appropriate for casual or dress wear, thus making it a very versatile brand.

Gravity Defyer shoes are known for their VersoShock™ shock absorbing system. This sytem is composed of a Comfort-Fit removable insole, a Smart Memory shock absorber, the VS2 VersoShock™ Reverse Trampoline Sole, and the AVS Ventilation System. The springs in the sole truly give the footwear a trampoline-like effect that helps propel you forward and reduces the shock of impact on your body. This unique system has proven to reduce the impact of walking and running by up to 30%.

Gravity Defyer has greatly expanded its collection to include more than just athletic shoes. Models include: the women’s Lois – a Mary-Jane styled flat with criss-crossing straps for visual interest. It is made of fine-grained South American Leather, and provides a luxurious feel and versatile style to this comfortable shoe. The Women’s Hannah is an oxford-style shoe that is perfect for casual weekend wear, or even with nicer slacks. The Hannah has contemporary style with its nubuck patches and heel counter, and is an excellent all-around shoe that you can stand or walk in for hours at a time. For men, Gravity Defyer models include: the Jan – a boat shoe-styled slip-on with nubuck and smooth leather that is perfect for casual wear or vacations. For dressy wear, Gravity Defyer has come out with the Visortu – a gorgeous dress shoe with oxford styling and a traditional cap toe design. This shoe is very appropriate to wear with a suit or more casual clothing. Yet it still contains the VersoShock™ shock absorption system so that the shoe can be worn comfortably all day long.
