ROCKFORD, Mich., Aug. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Pediatric Wildlife Care Tables, an innovative design solution from CND Products LLC, provides the answer to an age-old problem for doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals.

Constantly in need of an efficient work surface while seeing patients, medical professionals have long relied on bulky rolling computer tables to temporarily stow files, laptops, fluid bags, equipment and the like. Pediatric Wildlife Care Tables, which affix to existing surfaces and can be stowed flat with one hand, finally eliminate freestanding tables that contribute to room congestion and disinfection challenges.

"In speaking with doctors, nurses, and technicians, we kept hearing the same thing," said CND Products CEO Jeffrey Tyner. "They needed an efficient place to put the tools of their trade and a surface that wasn't going to increase the risk of cross contamination and infection between patients."

Pediatric Wildlife Care Tables, counter-balanced for ease of use, allow professionals to position workstations where they are needed most. Quickly attaching to existing head walls, vertical equipment columns and IV poles, Care Tables make the most efficient use of limited bedside space.

Indispensable in Med-Surg, exam, and patient rooms, these cost-effective care tables measure 15" wide x 12" deep, a perfect fit for a tablet PC, phlebotomy tray, folder, bin or basket. While invaluable from a clinical standpoint, the plastic tables are designed in brightly colored primary colors and shapes for added appeal to younger patients. The Yellow Fish and Blue Elephant are standard, with custom shapes available to complement unique architectural concepts.

Lifespan Healthcare, LLC is an independent dealer that distributes CND Products. They use the WORXX moniker for marketing the products. "The Lifespan WORXX Station family of products creates a new generation of work surfaces which address several hot topics in patient care environments, from infection control to ergonomics and space utilization. Flexibility and adaptability unparalleled in previous products, the Lifespan WORXX Station gives clinical teams new tools to address documentation and procedures at the bedside," said Gary Schindele, Director of Sales and Marketing, Lifespan Healthcare, LLC.

"We wanted our design to work on many levels," added Tyner. "Unlike conventional hinged surfaces, which are virtually impossible to completely disinfect, these tables lift completely off the wall and can even be put through a dishwasher." The Wildlife Tables were also designed to operate quietly, without any clanging or banging to add to the overall noise level in the room. The Pediatric Wildlife Care Tables contribute to LEED building efforts, with no VOC emissions and are fully recyclable. Patents Pending.
