Partnership with eHealthScreenings adds to growing list of solutions available to help companies and their employees manage their health and health-care costs

DEERFIELD, Ill., June 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Knowledge and prevention are among the keys to every person's good health. While you may look or feel healthy, you may not know about potential changes in your body that could lead to illness.

That is why Focused Health Solutions, a leading national provider of customized population health management services, is proud to announce its partnership with eHealthScreenings to make direct-to-consumer health screenings available to all employees and family members of Focused Health clients.

eHealthScreenings provides comprehensive wellness screening services, including lab tests, drug tests and blood tests, for approximately 150 profiles. Through eHealthScreenings, Focused Health will now offer the same quality blood tests that physicians order, processed through the same labs at nearly half the cost. These blood profiles can help identify risk factors and early warning signs of serious health conditions.

"By partnering with eHealthScreenings, Focused Health Solutions will further maximize the value our clients and participants receive from enrolling in our programs," said Charlene Bonvissuto, a registered nurse and President and Chief Executive Officer at Focused Health. "Test results provided by eHealthScreenings will help participants make the necessary changes in diet, exercise and lifestyle. This is also beneficial to employers who are looking for a better return on their healthcare expenditures."

Through eHealthScreenings, participants can go online to select one or more health screenings that are right for them, receive their lab paperwork, then choose a lab from a network of more than 200 affiliated office locations, 5,000 paramedical staff and thousands of nationwide lab locations. Participants also receive confidential lab results in one to five days.

"Routinely in today's medical system, you actually have to have symptoms of a disease before your doctor can send you to be tested for them. Often by then it's too late," said Jason Morgese, President, eHealthScreenings. "Early disease detection is your best defense against conditions such as heart disease, prostate cancer and diabetes. And our partnership with Focused Health Solutions now makes these services available to a greater portion of the population."

Focused Health's partnership with eHealthScreenings adds to the ever-growing list of solutions offered by the customized population health management service provider.
