A GPS for Social Impact: Identify Needs, Design Solutions, Change What Matters
Launched only six months ago in Bilbao, Spain, FlipOver.org has developed the world’s first Social GPS. Social GPS will serve to identify community issues including the need to support healthcare, social welfare, education, the environment, animal protection and development. Using its online website anyone in the world can report a need for change. Reports are verified through news sources and loaded to the Social GPS database where information is tagged, categorized and measured using advanced semantics.
