'The Sanitizer' Game Allows Consumers to Zap Germs in the Water Just Like

BioLab UV

ATLANTA, May 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Just in time for Memorial Day, integrated marketing communications agency, Fletcher Martin ( http://www.fletchermartin.com ) launched an interactive game to educate consumers on BioGuard's new UV sanitizing unit, BioLab UV ( http://www.biolabuv.com ). The banner-ad game is designed to entice consumers to click-and-play, while providing product details about UV.

In the game, created using Pointroll, players can target and shoot bacteria and germs as they appear in the water before they reach an unsuspecting swimmer.

"BioGuard's new UV system is an environmentally-friendly way to use ultraviolet energy to make 99.9% of the microscopic organisms in pools inactive," says Brad Sarmiento, VP/Creative Director - Interactive for Fletcher Martin. "BioGuard is taking this opportunity to educate consumers about their exciting new technological breakthrough by introducing a new rich media game banner called 'The Sanitizer.' The objective of the game is to allow customers to exact a little vengeance on germs with the UV gun and protect little Jimmy from harm. Throughout the game play, there are many chances to learn more about the product. Once all the creatures in the pool are eliminated, you have the opportunity to click onto a website describing more information about BioGuard's UV System."

Just in time for pool season, the banner-game will appear on the Scripps Network, HGTV.com, DIY.com, and FineLiving.com, as well as the Backyard Fun section of http://www.bioguard.com/us . The target audience is both current and soon-to-be pool owners.
