First Choice Emergency Room Hosts Community Event at Kingwood Facility

First Choice Emergency Room, the leading freestanding emergency room system in the United States, will host a street party at their Kingwood facility on Saturday, May 18th from 11am-2pm to celebrate the local community that the facility has served for the past year.

During the event, the Whambulance will be parked outside the facility and attendees are welcome to take pictures with the converted 2005 Chevy Ambulance. The first 100 kids will receive a free McDonald’s Happy Meal and MyFit Foods will provide samples. Twyla’s Friends will also be in attendance with pets available for adoption. There will also be local entertainment and a bounce house.

“This family friendly event is a great opportunity for us to remind the local community of the top notch emergency medical care First Choice ER provides,” said Dr. David Carlyle, Facility Medical Director of First Choice Emergency Room’s Kingwood Facility.

Two of Houston’s leading radio stations will also be on site giving away prizes and concert tickets. From 11am-1pm Mix 96.5 will be there and from 12pm to 2pm KRBE 104.1 will be at the Kingwood facility.
