Finland Biotech Delegation Visits Sundia

SHANGHAI, May 20 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- A Finland Biotech Delegation visited Sundia MediTech Company, a leading pharmaceutical R&D outsourcing CRO service company in Shanghai, China, in April.

The 9 members of the delegation are from Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation (Tekes), and three Finnish leading Biotech Companies.

Dr. Xiongwei Shi, Executive Vice President of Sundia MediTech Company, hosted the group and presented to the guests about Sundia's business activities and development strategy. Dr. Pauli Saarenketo, Manager of Tekes, presented Tekes' organization and its functions, especially its Pharmaceutical programs including the Finnish-Chinese Pharmaceutical Collaboration (Research) Program. Delegates from 3 Finnish companies also presented their companies' business as well as CRO needs. Tigermed Consulting Ltd., a strategic alliance partner of Sundia, participated in the meeting.

The Finnish delegates highly praised Sundia's fast growth in recent years, and were very much impressed by Sundia's CRO service capabilities and its state-of-the-art facilities. The hosts and the guests expressed a strong desire for future collaborations.
