Date:6/10/2009

GLEN ROCK, N.J., June 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Fingertip Formulary(R), the leading provider of access to and insight into U.S. formulary data, introduces a free, customized mobile solution, specifically designed for the iPhone. Physicians and others may now access Fingertip Formulary's simple-to-use formulary lookup application on web pages specially designed for the iPhone. By having formulary data available at the moment prescribing decisions are made, physicians can better optimize their patients' prescription drug benefit plans.

Fingertip Formulary Mobile provides real-time access to the most comprehensive and up-to-date integrated database of managed care formulary data. Information available at the point-of-care includes the coverage (tier) level and managed care restrictions, such as prior authorizations, step therapies, and quantity limits, as well as other relevant information, for virtually all U.S. based managed care plans. Users who choose to register on the Fingertip Formulary website may create and store a customized list of plan formularies which streamlines the formulary look-up process. All formulary data pulls directly, in real-time, and always reflects the most current status available in the core database.

In addition to the formulary data, clinical drug information is available for most pharmaceutical products. Useful links to the source formularies and product websites are also included as an additional resource.
