Filipino World Champion Endorses Charity to Help Fight Child Poverty

The Elmore Oil Company, an innovative Australian manufacturer of over the counter medical products has signed a 6 year deal with international super bantam weight champion, Balweg Bangoyan, to endorse their new program to raise money for children in poverty in the Philippines

(PRWEB) -- The company’s flagship product, a lotion called Elmore Oil (www.elmoreoil.com.au), which is used for pain relief for people suffering from arthritis and muscular aches and pains, has been Australias fastest selling topical pain reliever over the last 3 years and is now available in 12 countries around the world, including the Philippines.

And now the makers of the fastest selling topical pain reliever have teamed with a man who is considered by some as one of the most promising new boxers, to help children who may not otherwise have a chance to make it in life. Davao del sur Vice Governor Simplicio “Fely” Latasa described Bangoyan as “one of the brightest Filipino prospects in years to hold a world championship” and a future champion of the people.

It all started when the companies managing director, Mark Linford, made his first business trip to the Philippines in November 2007 and was struck by the number of young children on the streets of Manila, forced to beg for a living. “It’s a hard thing to witness”, says Mr. Linford, “and I knew from the first time I visited the country we needed to do something to help. It took a little over a year to get something in place but we now have a trust fund which provides financial help for the children of the Philippines.”
