FileTrail Joins With Lexmark To Offer End-to-End RFID-Enabled Item Management, Tracking, and Printing Solutions
Date:8/5/2009

FileTrail and Lexmark combine industry-leading RFID software, services with industry-first RFID laser printing capabilities to create a complete end-to-end, RFID-enabled solution for item management, tracking, and printing.

San Jose, CA (PRWEB) August 5, 2009 -- Today, FileTrail Inc, the leading provider of browser-based records management software and RFID technology, announced an alliance with Lexmark International, Inc. to create a complete end-to-end, RFID-enabled solution for item management, tracking, and printing. The alliance combines FileTrail's industry-leading RFID software and services with Lexmark's innovative RFID solution on the T654 monochrome laser printer.

"We're very excited about joining forces with Lexmark," said Darrell Mervau, Vice President of Business Development with FileTrail. "We're bringing together the best of both worlds - RFID-enabled tracking and management plus RFID laser print technology. Together, we've created a complete, closed-loop solution using RFID that automates the processes of physical item management. Working with Lexmark delivers additional value to our customers and enhances our solutions for managing and tracking evidence, assets, library books, and records."

How The Solution Works:
Using FileTrail's RFID-enabled technology, businesses gain a highly configurable method for item collecting, logging, tracking, and delivery. They'll have the option to secure exits, automatically track items as they move from desk-to-desk, and find missing items quickly with FileTrail's portable Detector™
