Fieldtex Products Launches a New Wellness Rewards Service for Companies
Date:6/19/2012

Rochester, NY (PRWEB) June 19, 2012

Fieldtex Products is a third party administrator of Medicare Advantage OTC Benefits programs that has recently launched a new service offering a wellness rewards program to members of health plans and employees at companies. Organizations are introducing wellness programs to improve the overall health of their employees/members in an effort to reduce the costs of health insurance. The program involves shipping gifts to participating members when they complete predetermined tasks such as getting a yearly physical or other preventative medical program.

As a fulfillment house for Medicare Advantage programs the company has been constantly tracking the shift in the health care market towards promoting preventative medicines and services as a way to reduce total medical costs. Plus the company already ships thousands of packages every week to Medicare Advantage members across the country. This experience in mail order made the move into wellness rewards a simple extension on their current business model and an added service to offer their customers.

In 2011 the federal government also introduced the Affordable Care Act which removed out of pocket expenses for a large amount of preventative services from doctors to detect cancer, diabetes and other chronic diseases. This reward program is another way of pushing people to take advantage of these services to improve their overall health.

This program is fully administered out of their Rochester New York facility along with the sale of bulk supplies to hospitals, clinics, colleges, municipalities and home health agencies. Most orders are processed the day they are received and shipped throughout the U.S. Fieldtex entered the retail and distribution markets for medical supplies in 1991 and became an internet retailer
