FaxBack's Fax Machine Integration Server Enables Enterprises to Capture and Automate Faxes to Enhance Productivity and Facilitate Regulatory Compliance

Miami, Fla. (PRWEB) February 2, 2009 -- FaxBack®, the high-density VoIP fax leader for Enterprise, SMB and Carrier fax solutions, today announced the Fax Machine Integration Server, an easy-to-install plug-in that turns fax machines into clients of the NET SatisFAXtion VoIP fax server. Directly linking fax machines to the fax server enables businesses to track & archive fax images, and integrate fax into document workflows - which enhances productivity and facilitates regulatory compliance.

"Four-out-of-five people prefer using fax machines over scanners to send fax documents, because it's simpler and more streamlined than scanning, importing and emailing documents," said Brian Keep, Director of Marketing for FaxBack. "Furthermore, fax machines are often forgotten in the unified communications mix, because documents with signatures or handwritten notes are almost always sent using fax machines."

For small and medium sized businesses, fax machines can be connected to the network via an ATA (Analog Terminal Adaptor), where the Fax Machine Integration Server software listens for fax traffic and immediately routes it to the NET SatisFAXtion Fax Server. For Enterprise customers with 4-24 fax machines, the Fax Machine Integration Server is a turnkey solution when embedded with AudioCodes' Mediant 1000 VoIP gateway, which eliminates the need to deploy an ATA device at every fax machine.
