FaxBack Announces New HTTPS Fax Platform

  • New Fax ATA (now in beta) which utilizes AudioCodes' ATA hardware platform
  • Microsoft Fax / Windows Fax and Scan VoIP Plug-in
  • FaxBack's NET SatisFAXtion Enterprise and Small Business premise fax servers

FaxBack's HTTPS-based fax solution can scale to a full DS3 (672 ports) per server, and it offers full fail-over and redundancy. This technology features a multi-tier architecture, which facilitates carrier-to-carrier handoff via HTTPS. This makes fax traffic routing easy for smaller carriers, while extending additional business opportunities for larger carriers.

Enterprise customers can also leverage FaxBack's new HTTPS fax platform by isolating their media gateway inside their firewall, and passing HTTPS through, which can alleviate the network traffic load balancing issues that typically accompany complications with T.38.
