Fastrack Acquires Prometheus Group Industry Leading HME Billing Service

Fastrack is the leading supplier of software & technology to Home Medical Equipment, Durable Medical Equipment, Respiratory Providers, Home Infusion Pharmacies & Home Health Care Agencies. Only Fastrack offers a solution for each individual segment of Home Care as well as one system encompassing virtually every clinical, operational and financial aspect of a provider’s business, offering several or all of these product/service lines within one integrated Microsoft SQL database.

Plainview, NY (Vocus) May 8, 2010 -- Fastrack Healthcare Systems, Inc. announced today the acquisition of Prometheus Group, a leading billing service for HME, DME, Physicians Practices and Sleep Labs.

According to Spencer Kay, President/CEO of Fastrack, “We have had a great relationship with the Prometheus team for over two years. Prometheus utilizes the Fastrack HME Software in their billing and cash posting services and we have referred clients to them. The feedback has been outstanding and we have been extremely impressed with their professionalism and industry knowledge. Adding the Prometheus team to Fastrack is a very exciting as it will allow us to offer even more services to our clients.”

Prometheus will establish Fastrack’s Billing Division, further strengthening the company’s service offerings in the Homecare space. All of the Prometheus employees in Georgia, South Carolina and India will remain with the new Fastrack Division.
