Naples, FL (PRWEB) December 23, 2008 -- Fast Radios, a leading provider of two-way radios and radio equipment announces the selection of Tekk International's Tekk X1000 series as the "Best New Two Way Radio Product of 2008."

"The Tekk X1000 is durable, easy to use, compact, and comes with a long list of features. At $299 the Tekk X1000 competes with radios priced substantially higher," said Bill Richards, President of Fast Radios.

Tekk X1000 standard features include 512 channels, built in inversion scrambling, 2-tone and 5-tone signaling and remote stun. The X1000 is built to meet or exceed IP-54 and Military Specification Standard 810 CDEF. Tekk radios are built in Korea.

The Tekk X1000 is offered in a 5 watt VHF version and a 4 watt UHF version. The twoway radio uses a 2400 mAh Lithium Ion battery that provides an 18 hour duty cycle between charging. Both VHF and UHF versions have 1 watt of audio power making the radio easy to hear even in loud environments. The Tekk X1000 was introduced in Las Vegas at the 2008 International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE) working underwater.

"Our criteria for choosing the 'Best New Two-Way Radio Product of the Year' are reliability, ease of use and affordability. In these categories the Tekk X1000 is a true benchmark product. In addition to their products Tekk International is a great business partner. David Stubbs (President of Tekk International) and his staff consistently do what they say they will do when they say they will do it," continues Richards.

Tekk's history of consecutive profitable years and on-time shipments is impressive. Founded in 1985, the company has distinguished itself as a stable supplier of two way radios and radio equipment in both U.S. and world markets.

Fast Radios has earned the trust of their business customers by providing true long-term savings in two-way radios for business.
