Family Prayer Candle Light Vigil for Life-Saving Rescue of 6-year-old 'Little Ambassador'
Date:5/27/2009

DC Child and Family Services Agency Where are you?

WASHINGTON, May 27 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Ariana-Leilani, "The Little Ambassador" is a beautiful kindergarten little girl who in her short life has met with Former President Bush, Nobel Peace Prize Winner, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, and the Queen Mother of Swaziland and the current Ambassadors to the USA from Zambia, Lesotho, Madagascar and Germany, has a life-threatening blood disorder which could be fatal if it continues to go untreated. The prayer vigil is sponsored by Greg Wims, The President of The Victims Rights Foundation (www.VictimsRightsFoundation.org) and the Ariana-Leilani Children's Foundation (www.Ariana-LeilaniFoundation.org).

Ariana-Leilani has not seen or talked to her mother, Dr. Ariel King - a respected internationally and local community leader, for more almost a year and has been in the custody of her father.

Authorities entrusted with the protection of children, Child and Family Service Agency (CFSA) of the District of Columbia have ignored Ariana-Leilani's plight for almost a year even though numerous medical and psychological experts have reported verbally and with reports that this little girl's life is in grave danger.

Supporters will start at Potbelly's, short presentation (and free ice-cream to honor Children's Human Rights). At 7:00pm the supporters will march 3-blocks singing "We shall overcome" and end at a the public space near the CFSA Friends and supporters of this wonderful little girl and her mother will pray to God for her life-saving rescue and protection, and demonstrate that the public is watching closely the inaction and callous indifference of the troubled Child and Family Services Agency of Washington, DC. How many more children must die, for this system to be accountable? Not one more!

We pray that God will move the CFSA and other authorities to serve the public's trust and take the necessary steps to save this little girl's life.
