Families Invited to Celebrate 'Shire Day' at Boston Children's Museum

Shire HGT Sponsors Free Admission for All Children on October 6th

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Shire Human Genetic Therapies (HGT), a division of Shire plc, the global specialty biopharmaceutical company, invites families across the greater Boston region to visit Boston Children's Museum on Saturday, October 6th for "Shire Day" when all children between the ages of 2 and 15 will be granted free admission. As part of the day, all children are welcome to participate in the "Curious Kids" science activity, which is also being sponsored by Shire.

"Our Shire HGT family looks forward to joining area families to experience the unique and creative exhibits that define the museum," said Sylvie Gregoire, President of Shire HGT. Founded in 1913, the Boston Children's Museum has spent more than 90 years helping children understand and enjoy the world in which they live.
