MELVILLE, N.Y., Oct. 30 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The North-Shore LIJ Health System announced today it has received a multi-million dollar donation from the founders of Melville, NY-based FalconStor Software Inc. (NASDAQ-FALC), a leader in network storage software solutions.

The gift will be used to create a truly unique Ambulatory Medical Center to serve communities throughout the greater Flushing, NY area. The new Medical Center will feature the latest in cardiovascular disease and prevention services, a spine center, an urgent care/walk-in primary care clinic, and select aspects of North Shore-LIJ's Monter Cancer Center and Institute for Orthopedic Science, including rehabilitation services. The Center will also provide integrative medicine services such as acupuncture, therapeutic massage and tai chi.
