Fairtex Muaythai Fitness Re-Brands Itself as FTX Martial Arts & Fitness or FTX
Date:3/26/2013

Mountain View, California (PRWEB) March 26, 2013

FTX Sports, LLC, parent company of Fairtex Muaythai Fitness will change its name effective April 2013 to FTX Martial Arts & Fitness or FTX. This change is part of a larger rebranding and restructuring effort to emphasize the company’s commitment to Martial Arts and Fitness training.

The announcement of the name change was made by Mr. Anthony Lin, CEO of FTX Sports, LLC. “We are rebranding and restructuring to evolve with the changing of time and market we serve. Since our inception in 2004, Fairtex Muaythai Fitness has evolved to encompass other martial arts and fitness training, such as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, boxing, Mixed Martial Arts, TRX Cable Training, Strength & Conditioning and among other programs outside the core martial arts of Muaythai. To minimize the dilution of Fairtex branding, we have decided to rebrand ourselves as FTX Martial Arts & Fitness or in short, FTX where X is whatever you wish it to be or become!"

Only Fairtex Muaythai Fitness – Mountain View will be rebranded as FTX Martial Arts & Fitness. Fairtex Newark, CA will cease to be associated with Fairtex and FTX in any way or form. The principle owners of FTX will be selling off its majority holding of this gym in Newark and it will be rebranded as Koa Fitness.

FTX is The Official Training Center and Home of the United States Muaythai Federation (USMF). USMF was founded in 2004 by FTX President, Mr. Anthony Lin, whose goal is to promote and grow the sport of Muaythai. Also in 2004, USMF was appointed by the International Federation of Muaythai Amateurs (IFMA) as its sole USA representative. USMF is also an official member of the Pan American Muaythai Union (PAMU). Under the leadership of IFMA, USMF and 120 other country federations, our aim is to gain the International Olympic Committee's (IOC) recognition to be included as the Olympic games.
