Faircount Media Group Choose "Call-Shadow" for IP Call Recording After Extensive Market Review
Date:9/11/2008

Shadow Technology today announced that Faircount Media Group, based in London, Tampa and Sydney had selected Shadow Technology's IP Call Recording product "Call-Shadow" after spending several months evaluating a number of different products.

Hertfordshire, UK (PRWEB) September 11, 2008 -- Shadow Technology today announced that Faircount Media Group, based in London, Tampa and Sydney had selected Shadow Technology's IP Call Recording product "Call-Shadow" after spending several months evaluating a number of different products.

"As part of our training improvement program, we needed a simple way to record calls made by our sales professionals so that they may be coached" said John Madden, Director of Information Systems at Faircount Media. " We found that there were many systems on the market that claimed to do what we required, but costs were high - in the mid-$30k's. We looked at several "makeshift" solutions, including audio tape and mp3 recorders at the workstation, or "after" the switch. We tested a system that tapped our phone lines before the switch. After months of testing and deliberation, we realized we would need a system that interfaced directly with our switch."

"The combination hardware/software systems I found on the market were overkill for our purposes. Shadow Technology saved us $8-10k on hardware by providing us with a simple solution that runs on a typical Windows box and interfaces directly with our Avaya switch. It took us a little while to get the settings right, but Call-Shadow's support team was very proactive about making everything perfect for us. Now, we are recording every single call, and our Sales Managers love it! They can search for a specific call or pull a list of all or a Sales Rep's calls. They can listen to the calls with the Rep and offer them coaching that will help make them more
