Date:11/5/2013

Cleveland, OH (PRWEB) November 05, 2013

Explorys, the leader in big data-driven healthcare transformation, has been selected as one of the Top 25 Coolest Tech Companies in Cleveland by Inside Business and Expedient. Additionally, Explorys CEO, Stephen McHale, was selected as the Coolest Tech Leader of the Year, an award given to the technology company leader with outstanding motivational and inspirational leadership abilities.

Presented by Inside Business, Northeast Ohio’s Business enthusiast magazine, the Cool Tech Awards program is committed to recognizing the technology industry’s greatest accomplishments and honoring local regional companies for their innovation and best practices. The Top Tech Companies were selected based on revenue growth, employee growth and profitability from 2010 to 2012. In its inaugural year, the Cool Tech Awards were created to showcase the increased growth in the technology industry over the past decade in Northeast Ohio, highlighting companies that are pioneers in their field.

“I am sure a lot of people would be surprised to see me named the ‘coolest’ anything, but I can’t argue that Explorys is one of the most awesome, innovative companies I have ever been involved with,” said McHale. “We have been so fortunate to be able attract so many professional, intelligent, and passionate people to help make Explorys a place where everyone loves to come to work every day.”

In just four years, Explorys, an innovation spin-off of the Cleveland Clinic, has grown from four employees to more than 115. Additionally, the company has gained significant momentum over the past 12 months, adding five new customers to its national network. The Explorys Network now consists of 17 integrated healthcare systems, 300 hospitals and over 200,000 providers, making Explorys the largest healthcare big data compilation in the world. This vast amount of data enables healthcare organizations to identify and measure trends, assess risk, and predict outcomes to drive quality at lower costs. Explorys has set out to unlock the power of big data to improve healthcare for everyone.
