GiveCamp is an entirely volunteer-driven, weekend-long event where software developers, designers, database administrators, project managers and creative professionals donate their time and expertise to create software and web-based applications for non-profit organizations. A large variety of projects—ranging from website design to the creation of smart phone applications—are completed during the weekend and are then donated to the participating non-profit organizations.
This is the third consecutive year that Explorys has participated in the Cleveland GiveCamp event. As a gold-level sponsor, Explorys’ corporate donation helped to make the event possible by supporting the 250-plus volunteers who will be offering their time and services throughout the weekend. Amongst those volunteers will be several Explorys employees contributing their IT expertise to the program.

In the past three years that Cleveland GiveCamp has taken place, it is estimated that approximately $1.5 million in IT and development work has been donated to participating non-profits. This year, Cleveland GiveCamp is slated to be bigger than ever with the organization expecting to surpass the $2 million mark of donated services.
