Experts, Advocates Available to Comment on Hillary Clinton's Health Care Plan

Jacob Hacker, Diane Archer, Roger Hickey Available For Interviews

WASHINGTON, Sept. 17 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Health care experts and advocates working with the Campaign for America's Future are available this week to respond to Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's health care reform proposals unveiled today. The work of these experts helped to inform the health care plans of John Edwards, Barrack Obama and Clinton. Clinton's plan will require every American to carry health insurance and offers federal funding to help reduce the cost of coverage, according to the Associated Press.

SPOKESPEOPLE AVAILABLE TO COMMENT ON CLINTON HEALTH PLAN

-- Roger Hickey, co-director of the Institute for America's Future. Hickey

helped lead the coalition against Social Security privatization and is

building a similar campaign for health care for all. Hickey is

known expert on public and private health care systems and works with

the Institute for America's Future. Archer is available this week in

New York.

-- Jacob Hacker, professor at Yale University and author of The Great Risk

Shift. Hacker wrote an important new health care plan published by the

Economic Policy Institute called "Health Care for America" which has

shaped the health care proposals of John Edwards, Barack Obama and key
