Expect 329 total CPT® Code Changes in 2014

The numbers are in! According to the American Medical Association (AMA), there will be 329 total code changes in 2014, to include 175 new codes, 107 revised codes, and 47 deleted codes.

To assist in providing valuable education and training specific to these CPT changes, Contexo Media presents the Procedural Coding Changes Workshops. It is the preeminent workshop for hands-on practical application of the 2014 procedural coding changes.

Contexo Media will once again be hosting the largest annual conference dedicated to procedural coding changes in the health care industry. “In this workshop, two of the industry's foremost experts will provide a comprehensive review of upcoming procedural coding changes and tips for successful implementation in 2014," said Jerry Okabe, General Manager, Contexo Media. “This one-day conference provides healthcare professionals with the information they need, when they need it. We are also excited to be able to offer an eLearning version and live online version of our conference."

The workshop is well established in the industry and has been offered by Contexo Media for many years. There will be seven hours of in-depth coverage of the 2014 procedural coding changes, including the most significant updates for specialties. Expert instructors include Susan Thurston, MA, CHCA, CPC, CPC-I,CPC-H, CPC-P, CCS-P, MCS-P, CHCO, CMM, RMC and Margie Scalley Vaught, CPC, CPC-H, CPC-I, CCS-P, MCS-P, ACS-EM, ACS-OR. Continuing Education Units are also being offered for attendees.
