Nearly 200,000 physicians in more than 500 hospitals are using Orion Health Concerto™ portal to access critical health data stored in electronic health records (EHRs). The company has just reported over 50% growth in net profit before tax for the 2009 financial year.

Auckland, New Zealand (PRWEB) June 29, 2009 -- Orion Health, a market leader in providing clinical workflow and integration technology, today announced a major milestone for the company and the adoption of its solutions around the world. Nearly 200,000 physicians in more than 500 hospitals are using Orion Health Concerto™ portal to access critical health data stored in electronic health records (EHRs). The company has just reported over 50% growth in net profit before tax for the 2009 financial year.

Ian McCrae, Orion Health CEO notes the company is preparing for rapid growth as the US market is set to explode on the back of government funding from ARRA. Already, the company sees 90 percent of sales from revenues outside of New Zealand. With interoperability a top priority for health providers globally, Orion Health continues to grow as it pursues these opportunities via new channels and markets.
