Expanding Community Vision at the Science Museum of Virginia
Date:9/16/2014

Richmond, VA (PRWEB) September 16, 2014

The Living Ethics lecture series returns to the Science Museum of Virginia this fall. Reflecting on what it means to live in an ethically complex world, Living Ethics: Expanding Community Vision investigates unique and thought-provoking topics.

“The Museum’s job is to provide opportunities for people to be inspired to look at their world differently. The Living Ethics series’ speakers are thought provoking and set the stage for truly enlightening dialogue,” says Richard Conti, Chief Wonder Officer, Science Museum of Virginia.

This dynamic, three-part evening lecture series presented in collaboration with Bon Secours Virginia Health System begins Wednesday, September 24 at 7 pm. The free lecture series continues throughout the fall, with presentations on October 29 and November 12 at the Museum.

“Moving into our fourth year of Living Ethics it is exciting to witness Richmonders actively participating in ethical discussions and asking difficult questions,” says Kelly Stuart, M.D., Medical Ethicist, Bon Secours Virginia Health System. “It has always been our hope at Bon Secours to catalyze meaningful ethical engagement and offer creative approaches to community building. This year we address this issue directly.”
