Evidence-Based Program Now Open at Clearview's Outpatient Center
Date:10/24/2013

Venice Beach, Calif. (PRWEB) October 24, 2013

Clearview Treatment Programs in Los Angeles recently opened an Evidence-Based Program at its Outpatient Treatment Center to better help men and women struggling with emotional dysregulation and associated issues.

Clearview’s Evidence-Based Program is a skills-based program that is appropriate for people who have significant emotional dysregulation (including those with Borderline Personality Disorder), interpersonal difficulties, impulsive behaviors, or who are engaging in self-harmful behaviors.

In Clearview’s co-ed Evidence-Based Outpatient Treatment Program, clients participate in the following therapies:

o Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
o Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
o Seeking Safety for Trauma
o Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

“This skills-based program was created to help stabilize and provide more structure for people struggling with severe emotional dysregulation,” said Michael Roy, LCSW, MSW, executive director and founder of Clearview Treatment Programs. “People who participate in this outpatient treatment program will benefit from more groups and support that can give them the best chance of recovery.”

Outpatient Treatment at Clearview

Clearview’s new Evidence-Based Program is just one of several programs offered at Clearview's Outpatient Treatment Center in Los Angeles, which has been open since 2000.

Other programs at Clearview’s Outpatient Treatment Center are:

o Comprehensive DBT Program, which includes DBT skills groups, individual DBT therapy, and phone coaching sessions
o Intensive Outpatient Program for psychiatric disorders and addictions
o Individualized Outpatient Program that is completely customized based on the client's needs

“We are proud to be one of the first outpatient treatment centers in Los Angeles,” said Roy. “Throughout the years, we’ve created an outpatient treatment center that can help men and women with a variety of complex diagnoses successfully recover and maintain their recovery.”
