Date:10/1/2007

CHARENTON-LE-PONT, France, October 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Essilor of America, a subsidiary of Essilor International, has acquired a majority stake in KBco, one of the largest polarized lens distributors in the United States.

KBco will keep its current management team.
