Epson Introduces Color On Demand Inkjet Printer

About SecurColor

SecurColor is the first inkjet printer designed to meet a wide range of hospitals' needs for on-demand color printing in a single, cost-effective unit. Its patented MicroPiezo(R) Inkjet Technology print heads ensure precise control over the ink, allowing SecurColor to produce impressive text and image quality at speeds up to 3.7" per second. SecurColor meets a wide range of color enhanced printing needs for hospitals including meal tickets, pharmacy labels, specimen labels, patient records, medical document labels, admissions forms, test result labels and more, while accepting a wide range of qualified permanent, waterproof and durable media from 1.2" to 4.4" wide. In addition, SecurColor offers front-loading labels and ink cartridges for easy access, and its small footprint fits easily onto a desk or shelf. SecurColor is controlled through a user-friendly Windows driver system and system software assigns the correct color codes, reducing the risk of human error and minimizing the amount of wasted labels.
