Environmental Design Research Association's “Healthy Rhode Island Environmental Design Summit” Program Released

The Environmental Design Research Association (EDRA) is pleased to present the final program for the Healthy Rhode Island Environmental Design Summit on Wednesday, May 29, in the Narragansett Ballroom at the Omni Providence hotel in Providence, R.I. Co-sponsored by the Rhode Island Department of Health and Roger Williams University, this seminal event brings together the expertise of researchers from around the globe converging in Providence for EDRA44Providence together with leaders of more than a dozen local initiatives that have health implications, and with policymakers who shape and implement health policy for Rhode Island.

Confirmed participants include: Sheldon Whitehouse, United States Senator (D-R.I.); Barbara Fields, Regional Administrator, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; Christopher Koller, Rhode Island Health Insurance Commissioner; James Bennett, Director of Economic Development, City of Providence; George H. Nee, President, Rhode Island AFL-CIO; William J. Gilbane, President & COO, Gilbane Construction; Donald J. Farish, President, Roger Williams University; Christina Paxson, President, Brown University; and Michael Fine, Director, Rhode Island Department of Health.
