PrecyseCode 2X Benefits

With PrecyseCode 2X, the images of the relevant portions of the patient's record are collected from a computer screen on one of the hospital's EHR terminals and electronically transmitted to remote coders through a secure Internet connection. This process reduces the need for on-site scanners or for establishing direct connectivity with a facility's electronic health record system, thus increasing the security of the transfer of the medical record documents required for remote coding.

PrecyseCode 2X addresses other challenges related to coding, medical record security and productivity by providing hospitals with a solution that will:

the medical record, ultimately reducing overall processing time for

remote coding

-- Provide access to remote coders to meet variations in volumes, cover

coder absences, fill vacant positions, and utilize specialty coders
