Endocrinologist Reema Patel, MD, has joined Raritan Bay Physicians’ Group, PC, with recently opened offices in Old Bridge and South Amboy, NJ. Dr. Patel is fluent in English, Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi and Urdu.

Endocrinology is a field of medicine concentrating on hormones that the body produces and the disorders of these hormones. Besides specializing in the treatment of diabetes, endocrinologists also treat disorders of the thyroid, parathyroid, pituitary and the adrenal gland. They also treat osteoporosis, menopause, low testosterone, polycystic ovarian syndrome, hirsutism and a variety of other hormonal problems.

Dr. Patel attended medical school at Government Medical College, Surat, India. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, NJ, and is fellowship trained in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York (SUNY). Dr. Patel is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is board eligible in endocrinology. Her offices are located in Suite 206, Medical Arts Building, 3 Hospital Plaza, Old Bridge, NJ, and 2045 Highway 35 South, Suite 200, South Amboy, NJ.
