Encino Family Dental Announces Invisalign® Consultation and Reduced Pricing for Full and Customized Invisalign® Treatment

Encino, CA (PRWEB) September 16, 2013

With the cost of healthcare in the U.S. constantly rising, it’s more important than ever for Americans to understand that oral health is a crucial aspect of maintaining general health. Swollen and red gums can often be the result of having teeth that are crowded or too widely spaced. When teeth are properly aligned, it helps gums fit more securely around the teeth, allowing for a stronger natural defense against potential periodontal problems.

“Teeth and gums say a lot about a person,” said Marian Yassa, DDS, owner of Encino Dental Care. “If both are taken good care of, overall health will generally be better.” Maintaining healthy teeth and gums helps keep the whole body healthy, according to the American Dental Association. Added Dr. Yassa, “having straight teeth improves overall dental health and helps our patients’ confidence and self-esteem.”

Invisalign® is an alternative to metal braces using a custom-made series of plastic trays or “aligners.” There are no metal brackets or wires. The aligner trays are made of smooth and clear plastic. Wearing the aligners over the teeth promotes a gradual shifting of tooth alignment.

By using a series of the custom-designed aligners, the teeth continue to move little by little until they are completely straightened to the exact positions planned by an orthodontist or dentist. Recent innovations to the Invisalign® product line are also designed to improve extrusions, rotations, and root movements. The trays are removable so teeth and gums can be cleaned as usual.
