Father Tom established the Thomas Hartman Foundation for Parkinson's Research, Inc. in 2004, three years after he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. "It became clear to me that God was inviting humanity to find the cure" said Father Tom. "With God, prayer, good science and money, the cure can be found."

Ms. Lucci, a dear friend of Father Tom's, joined his cause and has pledged to be part of changing the face of Parkinson's disease. Ms. Lucci is no stranger to a good fight. As the most famous face in daytime television history, Ms. Lucci has held audiences spellbound for years as the sassy, beautiful "woman you love to hate," Erica Kane on ABC-TV's "All My Children." In May 1999, all of America stood and cheered when Ms. Lucci won the Emmy Award for "Best Actress" after a record 19 nominations.

A cocktail hour will begin at 6:00 with a silent auction and raffle, with the dinner following at 7:30. The critically acclaimed composer Jimmy Webb will perform.

Reporters are invited to a press briefing that will be held at 5:00 pm on June 22nd at the Crest Hollow Country Club. To register, please contact Becky Wiley at 516-829-5502 or at rwiley(at)infinitechpronline(dot)com.
