Emdat Launches DaRT Solution That Allows Physicians to Use EMRs with No Changes to Daily Workload
Date:4/27/2010

r that more than 2,000 health care providers across the country already count on to reduce the cost of their medical transcriptions. The company's Qualified Text solution, for example, automatically fills in standardized information for various medical conditions, allowing MTSOs to increase their bottom line.

In-house transcription services and medical transcription service organizations (MTSOs) that utilize Emdat's online platform are able to increase their value to providers by fusing their services with EMRs, which a growing number of facilities are expected to adopt because of federal incentives beginning next year.

"Using Emdat's DaRT-enabled solution is a great way for transcription companies to ready themselves for what is likely to be a significant shift toward electronic records in the years ahead,” Olver said.

Emdat representatives will be on hand to discuss DaRT at the national meeting of the Medical Transcription Industry Association (MTIA) from April 28 to May 1. Emdat will occupy booth 13 at the event, which will be held at the Hilton Ocean Walk Village in Daytona Beach, Fla.
