An Industry Leader Selects Desktop and Production Messaging Solutions for Significant Savings, Fluid Integration and Streamlined Management

Norcross, GA (PRWEB) March 8, 2009 -- EasyLink Services International Corporation ("EasyLink" or "Company") (NasdaqCM: ESIC)(easylink.com), a global provider of comprehensive messaging services, including email fax and e-commerce solutions, today announced one of the world's largest biomedical and pharmaceutical companies has chosen its Desktop and Production Messaging solutions for an initial three-year contract.

Prior to selecting EasyLink, the client faced a daunting and potentially costly investment as it faced the discontinuation of support for the software it was using for its server-based fax solution. The company had to absorb the cost and time associated with installing new software or find an alternative solution. By outsourcing to EasyLink's hosted Desktop and Production Messaging, the client did not have to purchase software or allocate additional IT resources to manage an upgrade. In addition, EasyLink's solution provided substantial operational savings and enabled the company to eliminate more than 20 servers under management. EasyLink also offered service continuity since the client was able to transfer its existing fax numbers seamlessly into EasyLink's network.

"The value, experience and quality of service EasyLink offers through its hosted solutions continue to gain popularity in the biomedical and pharmaceutical industry," said Thomas J. Stallings, CEO, EasyLink Services. "As companies around the world in other industries have witnessed, EasyLink can help reign-in costs for considerable savings, streamline operations and eliminate the burdens associated with server-based solutions. We look forward to continuing our growth in the industry."
