Elsevier Titles Win Four PROSE Awards From Association of American Publishers

- Awards Confirm Elsevier's Leadership in Medical E-Products and Books in Clinical Medicine, Nursing and Allied Health

- Elsevier's Procedures Consult Named Top E-Product

Elsevier, the leading publisher of scientific, technical and medical information products and services, today announced that it has won four major awards from the Professional and Scholarly Publishing (PSP) Division of the Association of American Publishers (AAP).

Elsevier's Procedures Consult, an online medical resource that helps physicians, medical residents and students learn and test their knowledge of medical procedures, was named Best Product within the e-products category of the American Publishers Awards for Professional and Scholarly Excellence (PROSE Awards, http://www.proseawards.com).

Receiving top honors in the nursing and allied health book category was Elsevier's Complementary Therapies for Physical Therapy: A Clinical Decision-Making Approach (written by Judith Deutsch, PT, PhD, and Ellen Anderson, PT, MA, GCS), which reveals how to incorporate evidence-based complementary therapies into a physical therapy practice.
