Elsevier Announces Launch of Osteopathic Family Physician Publishing Partnership Formed With American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians

Shubrook Jr., DO, FACOFP, Director, Diabetes Fellowship, Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Associate Director of Family Practice Residency, O'Bleness Memorial Hospital, Athens, Ohio. "We are working to have Osteopathic Family Physician become a publication that represents the best of osteopathic family medicine, including educational initiatives, original research and important advances in practice management," commented Dr. Shubrook. "Our further hope is that it would be viewed as an authoritative resource by those outside the profession who want to better understand the breadth and scope of osteopathic family medicine."

Joining Editor-in-Chief Shubrook is Associate Editor Joel A. Kase, DO, MPH, Director of Medical Education, Department of Graduate Medical Education, University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, Biddeford, Maine, and Emergency Physician at Maine General Medical Center, Waterville, Maine. Dr. Kase is currently Editor of the Association's newsletter, Osteopathic Family Physician News, and former chair of the ACOFP Editorial Committee.
