Winners Honored at Adrian Awards Gala Jan. 26, 2009 in New York City

New York, NY (Vocus) January 27, 2009 -- EliteMeetings.com received a Bronze Adrian Award for Web Marketing excellence last night at the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) 52nd annual Adrian Awards Competition. The Adrian Awards represent the largest and most prestigious travel marketing competition in the world.

HSMAI paid tribute to EliteMeetings.com, the Web site of Elite Meetings International (EMI), during the 19th annual HSMAI Adrian Awards Gala, a black-tie affair attended by more than 1,000 hospitality, travel, and tourism marketing executives, on Jan. 26, 2009, at the New York Marriott Marquis.

We're extremely proud to be recognized in this way," says EMI CEO Kelly Foy. "Our goal for the relaunch of EliteMeetings.com was to create an extraordinarily useful and comprehensive search and RFP engine for meeting planners that would allow them to find compatible hotels and resorts for their functions. It's gratifying that our efforts have been so well received."

The 2008 Bronze Adrian Award for Web Marketing excellence represents the second in as many years for EliteMeetings.com. This year's contest attracted nearly 1,300 entries from around the world, with entries judged by top executives from all sectors of the industry.
