Date:8/21/2013

Lawton, OK (PRWEB) August 22, 2013

From Elena Shea, MD comes Health Is Here, a valuable book that provides the essential information needed to protect and improve one’s over-all health status. In this volume, she empowers those interested in supporting and nurturing their own health through consciousness and the involvement of the self in more wholesome and nourishing practices.

Shea uncomplicatedly explains the different concepts related to maintaining fitness and wellbeing, including: parts of the body and its functions and defenses, proper diet and lifestyle, sign and symptom management, nutritional supplements and herbal medicines, as well as pregnancy. She puts emphasis on the importance of balanced diet and herbal therapy. It must be stressed that these approaches are not a substitute for western medicine or medical care, but an effort to provide a basis for why and how foods and herbals can support healing and vitality.

An insightful volume that tenders the ABC’s to achieve optimal functioning, this book equips readers with the necessary tasks crucial in maintaining the best possible condition of the body to guard against diseases. Specifically, the age-old adage, prevention is better than cure, is best cultivated initially in the household and academic institutions. The author believes that these two units can reshape some flawed thinking and habits of society by improving awareness and knowledge as well as encouraging self discipline.

Through these guidelines, one can aid in promoting, restoring and maintaining salutary bodily conditions in the home, school or work setting. A life-altering book, Health Is Here furthers readers’ knowledge and understanding of the available natural remedies and utilizing these for healthful practices for a healthier, disease-free tomorrow.
