Elder Care Helper Launches Consumer-Focused Provider Evaluation Tools

Elder Care Helper announces the launch of online Provider Evaluation tools that help consumers evaluate and find the right long-term care provider for themselves or a loved one.

“Our Provider Evaluation tools aim to bring clarity and confidence to one of life’s most important decisions,” says Susan Cherco, Elder Care Helper founder. “Our tools promote self-guided discovery that allow consumers to make informed, apples-to-apples comparisons of long-term care providers and, ultimately, have greater confidence they’ve found the provider and setting that best meets their individual circumstances and needs.”

These new resources were built with expert input to help consumers evaluate assisted living facilities, continuing care retirement communities, home care options and nursing home providers. They include:

  • Checklists: These printable evaluation tools include must-ask questions for consumers to complete as they evaluate care providers. A unique, side-by-side format allows consumers to perform the same evaluation and track findings across three different providers.
