Date:8/28/2013

Skillman, New Jersey (PRWEB) August 28, 2013

Edward J. Bergman, Esq., co-founder of Bergman and Barrett - a local law firm in New Jersey - has joined Mediation.com, a leading mediation portal as part of its attorney-mediator network. Bergman's partnership with Mediation.com is good news for both parties because the former will benefit from the website's scope and reach, while Bergman's experience in complex civil and matrimonial cases will be a great asset for promoting the website's business. With the already large portfolio of mediation services offered by Mediation.com, Bergman's addition is warmly welcomed.

"It's a pleasure to work with Mediation.com. I am looking forward to meeting new clients and to imparting all I have learned in the hundreds of mediations conducted at Bergman and Barrett," said Bergman.

Bergman's enthusiasm is shared by the website that promises, and delivers to its clients, the best of legal services with a mark of quality and satisfaction. Providing fully customized arbitration and mediation services, the website stands true to its word of "keeping you out of court." "Mr. Bergman's expertise will be available to anyone and everyone seeking help from Mediation.com," says Tom Pronesti, the website's Operations Manager.

At Bergman and Barrett, Edward Bergman has earned a reputation as an esteemed mediator, arbitrator, discovery master, independent director and fiscal agent in Mercer, Middlesex, Somerset, Burlington, Camden, Hunterdon and Monmouth counties. After an honors degree in Art History from the University of Pennsylvania, Bergman proceeded to Columbia University School of Law for his J.D.

With such vast knowledge and experience, Bergman has taught Negotiation and Dispute Resolution in the Department of Legal Studies and Business Ethics at Penn's prestigious Wharton School of Business since 1995. In 2011, he earned a William G. Whitney Award for Undergraduate Teaching. Prior to Wharton, Bergman also taught at Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School.

In 2005, he founded the Penn Clinical Ethics Mediation Program at the Perelman School of Medicine where he teaches in the Master of Bioethics curriculum. Bergman has lectured worldwide on dispute resolution topics and is the author of numerous articles and book chapters in the field. He was previously a board member of the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators and served on the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Complementary Dispute Resolution.
