Editor Showcase: Health & Nutrition Brand-to-Press Networking Event Scheduled for Aug. 17
Date:6/8/2009

Invite-only Event to Bring Together 40 Consumer Brands with Major Media in New York City

NEW YORK, June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Fast Forward Events, an experiential marketing and event production agency, announced today that it will host Editor Showcase: Health & Nutrition, a brand-to-press networking event, on Aug. 17, 2009, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the New York Marriott Marquis hotel. The invite-only event will enable 40 brands to share their health and nutrition-related products with top-tier print, broadcast and online media who regularly cover these categories, according to Michelle Metter, Editor Showcase producer at Fast Forward Events.

"A presence at Editor Showcase: Health & Nutrition will help brands build key relationships with influential media faster, smarter and with less cost than a cluttered trade show exhibit," Metter said. "Our events are designed to be intimate, so each participating brand spends more time networking and less time competing for editors' attention."

Exhibitors at Editor Showcase: Health & Nutrition will receive a six-foot table for product display and sampling, may have up to three company representatives attend, and will be allowed to directly provide attending media with customized gift bags. Brand managers, marketers, and public relations representatives also may attend the Editor Showcase without exhibiting by securing networking passes. To register for either opportunity or learn more about the event, visit the event's Web site at www.editorshowcase.com. Additionally, people can follow Editor Showcase: Health & Nutrition and receive up-to-the-minute news by becoming a Facebook fan or Twitter follower.

Editor Showcase is a quick and convenient way for media to gain immediate access to numerous relevant brands all in one location. Media expected to have a presence at the Health & Nutrition event include editors, reporters and freelancers representing such top-tier outlets as Health, Fitness, Shape, SELF, Prevention and Women's Health.

Editor Showcase: Health & Nutrition is the second in a series of brand-to-press networking events produced by Fast Forward Events this year. At Editor Showcase: Modern Moms in March, brands including Disney on Ice, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey, Munchkin, popchips, Bamboo, and the American Council on Exercise (ACE) shared their family-oriented products and services with media from the Today show, O - The Oprah Magazine, Good Housekeeping, Family Circle, Parents, Kiwi and SavvyMommy.com, among many others.

Press inquiries should be directed to Michelle Lockhart at Formula by calling 212-219-0321 or via email at lockhart@formulapr.com. Brands interested in participating in Editor Showcase: Health & Nutrition can contact Ashley Wheeler at 858-578-9463 or Wheeler@fastforwardevents.com.
