Edifecs Launches First of a Series of Edifecs5010(TM) Migration Educational Webinars Addressing 5010 Migration Challenges, Opportunities and Solutions

BELLEVUE, Wash., April 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Edifecs announced today a series of educational webinars on HIPAA 5010 implementation issues that providers, payers, clearinghouses and other healthcare stakeholders will encounter during the mandated migration to the new standards. In these sessions, Edifecs will offer guidance and recommend solutions available in the release of Edifecs5010(TM) Migration -- a comprehensive set of products, online services, resources and Edifecs Client Services consulting, which incorporate a holistic approach to adopting and achieving compliance with the HIPAA 5010 & ICD-10 code set standards.

The webinar - Overview: What is a HIPAA 5010 and ICD-10 and What Does it Mean to Me? series begins on Tuesday, April 14, 11:00 AM - 12:00 NOON (PST) and will be held again on Friday, May 15, 11:00AM - 12:00 NOON (PST) and Tuesday, June 16, 11:00AM - 12:00 NOON (PST). If registrations exceed limitations on space availability, Edifecs will schedule additional sessions.

This webinar covers vital issues for consideration during a HIPAA 5010 transaction and ICD-10 code migration implementation. The session will focus on the crucial issues regarding deployments of 5010 transactions, leveraging Edifecs5010(TM) Migration product features for internal development and testing, external partner testing and run-time compliance validation. Additionally, Edifecs will cover how to use powerful performance monitoring and improvement capabilities to create a finely-tuned EDI transaction lifecycle in any healthcare organization.
