(PRWEB) January 13, 2010 -- Memphis, Tennessee plastic surgeon Dr. Phillip Langsdon is proud to announce "Day Lift."

The economic down turn has strengthened interest in the Day Lift, as opposed to larger, more expensive procedures. “A higher percentage of patients are looking for less costly ways to enhance their appearance”, said Dr. Langsdon.

The Day Lift, a mini face lifting procedure created by Phillip R. Langsdon, MD, FACS., using minimal incisions and a strong muscular suturing technique designed to provide significant facial appearance age reversal for those not yet candidates for the full facelift.

Because the incision and treatment area are minimal, compared to a full facelift, there is less swelling, bruising and down time….and less cost with the “Day Lift”. Patients are able to return to work or social activities within a few “days”, unless other procedures are requested along with the Day Lift.

The Day Lift is not just a “skin stretch” technique. It lifts and tightens the underlying tissues and muscles providing the face with a very natural, non stretched look.

The Day Lift is an office based one hour procedure that lifts sagging skin and tightens muscles of the cheeks and jowls. It is done in the Langsdon Clinic, licensed operating room, under local anesthesia, so that patients don’t have to go to a hospital or large surgical facility.

However, “not everyone is a candidate and should have an evaluation to make sure she/he is and ideal candidate”, Dr. Langsdon said.
