Safe Home Products Creates Eco Site Awards to Honor Websites that Actively

Improve the World

IOWA CITY, Iowa, Feb. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Safe Home Products, a leading retailer of safety, health and environmentally-friendly products, announced today the launch of their new industry awards program -- Eco Site Awards. The Eco Site Awards strive to recognize organizations that make a concentrated effort to improve the world around them through ecology, health, safety and the environment.

"Safe Home Products prides itself on offering solutions for a safer, healthier, more enjoyable lifestyle and we wanted to recognize other organizations that are working to make improvements in the areas of ecology, health, safety, and the environment," said Barbara Staib, president of Safe Home Products. "In addition, we hope by honoring the efforts of these organizations we will bring awareness to the issues and inspire more organizations to pay attention to their environmental and social impact."

The free Eco Site Awards are open to any organization whose website promotes socially responsible actions. The organization must have a website on a registered domain to be eligible. Applicants are judged by a five-person panel and winners receive an Eco Site Awards badge to proudly display on their websites.
