Chicago Festival of Trees Holiday Gala. The Gala is an annual event

that benefits local Chicago programs and services for children and

adults with autism, including the new Therapeutic School and Center

for Autism Research currently being built on Chicago's west side

and expected to be completed in Fall 2008.

Why: Each year, Easter Seals Metropolitan Chicago gathers hundreds of its

volunteers, families, donors and staff to celebrate the season and

recognize an outstanding company and individual who have made a

significant contribution over the last year.

-- CVS Caremark has supported Easter Seals as a national corporate

partner for more than a decade and in 2006 committed $500,000

to Easter Seals Metropolitan Chicago's Therapeutic School and

Center for Autism Research. Additionally, through its

award-winning signature philanthropic program, "All Kids Can,"

CVS Caremark has contributed nearly $4 million to support

Easter Seals services nationwide to help children with

disabilities play, learn and succeed in life.
