East Meets West at Cabo San Lucas' New Saltwater Spa, Opening February
Date:2/4/2008

CABO SAN LUCAS, Baja California Sur, Mexico, Feb. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- The 7,000 square-foot Saltwater Spa, the newest in Cabo San Lucas, will debut on February 25, 2008 at Casa Dorada Los Cabos, Resort & Spa on Medano Beach. Marrying both Eastern and Western spa philosophies, the Spa's signature services include a Chinese Balls Stimulating massage, where special metal balls are used in a rhythmic massage that releases tonal vibrations for physical and emotional equilibrium, and a Bamboo Massage, performed using genuine bamboo poles and green tree oil. Combining color therapy, aromatherapy and thalassotherapy (salt water), Couleur de Vie is another distinctive treatment.

"The saltwater bath ritual that guests receive with each service is based on the notion that saltwater properties have long been considered highly therapeutic," says Gloria Reyes, spa director. "Associated with pain relief and rejuvenation of cells, saltwater promotes a healthy exchange of minerals and toxins allowing the body to purge unwanted contaminants."

Accentuated by a waterfall, pool, Japanese-style bridge and skylighted ceiling, the Saltwater Spa is soothing and Zen in its design. Ten treatment rooms, cold plunge pools, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi entice guests to linger after services are complete. A full menu offers facials, massages, exfoliations and salon services, including manicures, pedicures, waxing and haircuts. Guests can choose to enjoy the massage treatment at our luxury Spa, directly in their guest room or with an ocean view of the famous Medano Beach. The Spa's Fitness studio offers a high-impact floor, state-of-the-art Precor equipment and iPod docking stations.

The Saltwater Spa is located on Calle Pelicanos s/n - col el Medano in the Casa Dorada, Los Cabos, Resort & Spa. For information or reservations, please call 1-866-448-0151 or visit http://www.casadorada.com .
